Ideal for a group getaway
The room was super comfortable and my group had a blast when we lounged by the lake, soaking up the sun. The food was beyond amazing, every meal hit the spot and the staff were super friendly.
It wasn't exactly a bargain but well worth every penny.

Gringo Perdido is a magical retreat! The private beach and fine lake views created a perfect backdrop for relaxation. Kayaking at sunrise was like a dream. The manager, Estuardo, took care of all our needs, we had tours and shuttles. The food blew me away! Every meal, especially breakfast smoothies, felt exquisite. The atmosphere encouraged tranquility. I loved the hammocks lining the docks. The standard room showed signs of wear. The thin walls made it hard to avoid noise from neighboring guests, and I found some cleanliness issues that needed addressing, like dead flies and stained linens. Despite that, the overall charm and amazing staff were great. Can't wait to return!

The salads were a revelation-fresh and bursting with flavor-making every bite a delight. The staff were nice, and the beautiful grounds were a joy to explore. The family room was spacious and well-appointed, just what we needed!
While the howler monkeys serenaded us at dusk, one night we were treated to a surprise mix of loud music from a quinceañera across the water. Ah, the joys of nature! But honestly, the peace was worth it.
